I hate clickbait.
I also hate lists posts: 4 reasons for this, 6 ways to that, 3 lessons from these.
I refuse to use them. Any of them.
Yes, I may occasionally include lists in my posts, but I won’t use a “list title” to catch your attention.
Why? Because they are never exhaustive. Actually, most writers would tell you that their lists are not intended to be exhaustive. But, guess what? Readers often read them as exhaustive… and that’s a problem.
So, I hope you choose to read my posts for the content, not because of a catchy title that promises you happiness, success, and fulfillment if you only do these 4 things…
Came for an awesome list, left disappointed.
Then I’ve succeeded, Arthur!
There are 101 reasons why I love this blog, click my blog to read all about it! 😏
I would probably read that post…
That was one of the many reasons why I so enjoyed reading your previous work, Alan! You were never into click baiting, but always delivered good, insightful reading for me and countless others. As I commented previously you were one of the main blogs who opened the door so that I could begin to see and understand organic church. You were always authentic and open. I’m GRATEFUL!
Thanks, Clif!
